Good places to go tent camp in Colorado?
Me and my brother are planning a trip for August and I want to know a good site to camp at. We are strictly a tent camper and would like to find a campsite which is near the isolated mountain with fewer vehicles recreation. We also find a campground that is very close to other activities like rafting, hiking and outside other things. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Well, you can take two to four days walk to Mt Buffalo, and remain in the cervix. My family and I did, and it was great fun. There are hints but no roads, so I doubt that you will find RV is up there: D.
