other means of switching on the motherboard?
Well I did something really stupid. my computer does not have a case if each I need time I lit up a paper clip between the two pins (you know where) and has always been around. But today, my hands clenched and the clip moved and touched other pins, bypassing the board. The light is still lit on the motherboard … Is there another way to turn? Thank you.
There are some things you might try. With the power disconnected from the wall outlet: Remove the motherboard battery for 1 minute. Use jumper short circuit court and the council. You have to reset the BIOS settings. This can reset the motherboard and things set straight you. However, there is a possibiity you just fried your motherboard. So no guarantees.
