Suspicious device found outside Capitola Mall prompts bomb team investigation
CAPITOLA — Sheriff’s Bomb Team members cordoned off a Capitola Mall parking lot Tuesday as they used a remote-control robot and other tools to examine a suspicious device which turned out to be a harmless canister, deputies said.
