Dakota Watch Company opened its doors in 1945 and since then acquired a reputation for high quality precision and sustainable products. The company was founded by Albert Cooper under the name Cooper repair shop in Cincinnati, Ohio, and at that time products consisted mainly of a variety of services, scissor sharpening to watch repair.
In the early 1980, focusing on sales of watches and repair, the company changed its name accordingly Watchworks Cooper (Cooper's Watch or global in some places). Since then the company has grown to become one of the leading retailers in America's largest watch and in 1996 his name was changed again, this time as Dakota Watch Company.
Today, The Company is managed by Albert Cooper two son, Martin and David Cooper, and increased to more than 200 luxury watch sites throughout the United States (mainly in the western United States).
